  1. 1) when i try to convert from avi to vcd. how come the video source that i have isnt the following:
    NTSC if the video source is 29,97
    NTSC Film if the video source is 23.976
    PAL if the video source is 25 FPS.
    it's something like 12.500fps. so which one should i use?
    2) after i burn this movie to cdrw, and watch on my dvd, the screen keep skipping? how can i fix this
    can anyone help me?

    it is at 12frames per second because that is how it was when you dl it. it probably jumps and skips on your dvd because it isnt compliant but I am not sure because you haven't given any other info.

    at 12.5 frames per second you can simply double it to 25 fps...i.e. PAL. Each frame will display twice but it will look as good (or as bad) as the source. If you have some good software, you can try to interpolate between the two frames to make things smoother....I'm not sure what you could use to do this though (probably something like Aftter Effects would do the trick though)
