I'm beginning to think that there is a hardware problem, but here's the story:

I have the Memorex DVD+R[W] as the secondary IDE master with a Lite On LTR-16102B CD-RW as the slave. On the primary I have 2 HDs, 20 & 40Gb. The Lite On works fine, the DVD just about plays VCDs [after about 1min after putting it in the drive!] and reads some CDs. When it come to DVDs and DVD+RWs it says there's nothing in the drive! Both drives are using DMA access. If anyone can help me out that would be great. I hope I'm just doing something wrong..
