  1. Has anyone encountered this?

I just let WMP auto install an mpeg4 update. Afterwards, *all* of my mpg files play slightly, but noticably fast in *all* of my players, including real player and WinDVD.

I currently have Tsunami's codec pack installed and also Divx5.02. Just for the record, I have had nothing but trouble since trying to install new codecs to get various files to play.

I started with Nimo's, and now Tsunami's, and I have lots of lock ups, crashes and stalls when playing files now. I _seem_ to be able to play almost everthing after a fresh boot, but sometimes every single file will crash me.

I'm using Win98SE. I'm about to reinstall WMP. I'll post back once I see what happens.

If you install WMP you will overwrite some codec's and need to re-install the Nimo codec pack 5.8 just out !
