Here's another audio sync conumdrum I'd like to share. I burned lots of DVD's using DVD Complete and have had no problems with syncing until I tried to burn one about 2 hours long. The audio is fine until the last 5-10 minutes then it gets out of sync by about 1/2 a second. I've had 2 different burned DVD's (different content) do this. It's really annoying when the lips don't match when they're speaking.

I capture using Sony's DVMC-DA2 Analog to DV Firewire box in the DV codec using Microsoft's Movie Maker. Then use TMPGenc Plus to edit and encode to MPEG2. I merge several clips together (music videos) into one long clip that's about 2 hours also using TMPGEnc. From what I can tell, the merged MPEG2 is synced up at this point.

I then use Dazzle's DVD Complete to author the MPEG, creating menus. When I do import the MPEG into DVD Complete, it has to convert the audio. When I've finished authoring, I've used both DVD Complete and Nero to burn and still get the same out of sync result.

So, the coverting of audio may be the problem there, but is there a way to get TMPGEnc to make the audio up to DVD (or DVD Complete's) specifications? Does any other authoring program have to convert the audio like DVD Complete when using a TMPGEnc encoded file? Any other users of DVD Complete have this problem?
