I have been able to capture video and audio from my VCR with my Asus V7100 Deluxe Combo card. I have edited the video and am also able to display video and audio to a standard TV set. When I try to record to VHS tape nothing appears. I have tried connecting the cables directly to the VCR(audio and video in, as I have done on the TV set) but nothing records. I have succeeded once to capture audio to the VCR, but cannot remember the exact combination of connection.
Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance

I believe you emailed me, but just incase i'm wrong, when you connect your Asus to the VCR, make sure you are using the Video/Audio IN, and also remember to set your VCR to the AV channel, and the TV to your VCR viewing channel, that way you should be able to see even prior to recording, the PC on your TV, once you do, just press the Record on the VCR, and you should not have any problems.
NOTE: Check that the Output from your PC (PAL/NTSC) will match what your VCR can record.
