    last night i set a bunch of avis to convert to svcd through tmpgenc's batch list but i wake up today and see all but the first avi made it the first one's status is "stream error" i have had countless problems with this file what should i do?

    First thing is to check for junk frames. Virtual Dub-->Video-->Check video stream for errors.
