I have been ripping shows off of Tivo and splitting them into their video (m2v) and audio (m2a) streams. When trying to re-combine them using TMPG, it keeps saying that the format is invalid or unsupported. I am using the registered, full version of TMPG so it should recognize the MPEG2 format of Tivo streams.
Allow me add in this little tidbit. A friend of mine who is using the same Tivo streams as I am has no problem combining the streams in TMPG.
Also, consider this. If I use the simple muxer in TMPG, it will combine the files, but it says that there is an error with it. It will not support the MPEG file it outputs this way, but will play in WMP with the MPEG2 codec.
Am I missing a Codec or something? I am totally clueless on this one. Any help will be appreciated.
