Hey people,
I keep getting this error with CCE, although i have been using it to convert movies for the last few weeks. This is the first time i have been getting it.The film im wanting to convert is "High Crimes 2002" is it because it maybe a divx 5.x?
The error message is:
AVIFileOpen("C:\DVD Data\Movies\DVD-2VCD\AviSynth_Script_file_avs-vfapi.avi") : According to the registry the type of file specified in AVIFileOpen does not have the handler to process it.
Any help would be great - cheers guys
PS i have an Avisynth v0.3 installed,is this the correct one?

A few questions first before we can have a go at solving your problem.
CCE version used?
Please post your AVISYNTH script.
I have no problems encoding DivX5 files frameserving them using latest AVISYNTH (2.04 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/avisynth2/) into CCE 2.50. I know CCE versions above this (2.62 & 2.64 but not 2.66 beta) have problems with .avs files and can only assume you must be using once of these versions as you have converted your AVISYNTH script using VFAPI to a pseudo avi.
CCE 2.50 will however load .avs files directly and is quite a bit quicker in doing so.
Let us know how you get on.
