Dazzle DVC80, PLZ HELP!!!

Hey all, i am new to this site. first of all i love this place. now i am a newbie but have experience in this field a little. Now i am using a dazzle 80 and the software that came with it is MGI VideoWave 4 and the problem is that when i capture something like a hour long it takes that long to capture and then when i am saving it, it takes another hour. What other software is out there that takes less time to capture. I have premiere 6 but its gay IMO and just need to know whats the best for this device. thanx

Well Video takes time. I don;t know of anyway to capture video in less time that it takes to play it and any method that did work would surely reduce the quality.

Now what i am asking is that when i use Ulead DVD MovieFactory to capture it makes a file as mpeg1 and then when i wanna save it as vcd format it takes long. SO what i guess im gonna be doing is taking that temp movie and using TMPG Enc and encodein that which is a nice prog and takes less time. Thanx for the 1 min that it took out of ur life. I appericiate that you did this unlike the others on this site that couldnt atleast say sorry no other way.

One more thing. WHEN i capture what should be rememberd? i do the encodeing to the BEST format and quality NOW how do i make a nice quality VCD? Say i use the MGI Videowave to capture. What should i check in and what not. there in no help info on this software. If someone can Please tell me what to do to make a good quality captured file and what to use to make into a vcd and or a Svcd. APPS i have are Nero 5.5.5.9, Roxio EZ cd creator 5 Plat, MGI videowave 4, Ulead DVD MovieFactory, Pinnicle 7, and MovieXone. also TMPG enc with all Codecs. what should i use to make a good captured file and what to use for a good vcd burn. some info on this would be appericiated.
