I have some VCDs with unusual files. I can play these VCDs on VCD/DVD players without any problem. When I try to read *.dat files to the computer and try to convert them, the converted file is only a few seconds long while they should be longer than that, such as 10-20 minutes. I noticed that these *.dat file on VCDs are very small in size (they all have the same file size 3,593,900 bytes, regardless the length of that video stream).
I used TMPEnc and VCDGearGUI. They resulted in the same small file.
I'm using Win98 and WinMe.
Thanks.
