    how can i convert svcd to vcd please need to as my dvd player will not play svcd for some reason please help

    Use DVD2AVI on your SVCD to create a D2V and WAV files, and then use those files in TMPGEnc to encode into VCD.

    Sefy, I am sure that will work, but why not simply re-encode in TmpGenc with a VCD template?

    I've seem alot of times that TMPGEnc has problems opening MPEG2 files, go figure!
