Hi
I use Smartripper then DVD2AVI then TMPEnc to do my DVD to S/VCD conversion. My question is.....
After entering the DVD2AVI file in TMPEnc do I use to the source setting in TMPEnc to create 2 files to fit on 2 CDRs or, create one full movie file then split them with another program. ??
The reason I ask is I'm wondering whether the audio video synch be any different using either of these methods.
Cheers

Its probable quicker to convert all the movie, then use TMPGEnc File > Mpeg tools > Merge&Cut
You do waste time stopping and starting in other programs, if doing sections at a time -
Why should it be ?, a stream copy is done when you use Merge&Split its not re-encoded

I my self like to do the whole movie then demultiplex w/ tmpg and cut/multiplex w/ bbmepg: http://www.vcdhelp.com/bbmpegedit.htm
