    Hi,

    I have a divx video clip. I am trying to cut a 10 second section of it out to send to my brother. I have followed instructions, and I have my finished segment, but the sound cuts out halfway through playing. No matter which bit i cut out it always does it. I have selected Direct Stream from audio and video and dont understand why its happening.

    Any idea's how to cut a section with both video and audio - and what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

    open original in vdub.
    save whole clip as avi using direct stream
    reopen and edit new clip

    are you cutting on a keyframe? (the bottons with the little yellow keys)
