  1. Everytime I try to encode a movie longer than a few minuets I get an error when it finishes, It will say 100% complete but the timer will still run then I get an error message. The mpeg file is still playable but nero will say it is not in standard format. What is goin on?

  3. I have 2 149GB Raid 0 arrays each made of 2 ATA133 7200RPm 80GB hard drives. My main array has 128GB of free space, my second array has 149GB of free space.

  4. Solution - You have too much free space. Tmpgenc cannot handle this. Send me one of your raid arrays and it will work again.

Seriously, the latest version of Tmpgenc (2.57) has been giving a lot of people this error that I've seen. Drop back to 2.56 if you're using 2.57. Unless of course you're not using 2.57, then I don't know.
    mmm....unexplained bacon...

Our extended forecast calls for flurries of passion followed by extended periods of gettin it on.

I'm not sure the diskspace is the cause.
But if a previous release of TMPGenc does work, then it just might be the case.

Usually, you must set a tempory folder in the environmental settings of TMPGenc. Just be sure this one points to an existing folder (it's C:\TEMP\).

I don't think you still can download this version.
But if you really wants to have it, send me an EMail then I reply with this version (as attachment).

  8. Well version 2.01 gives me no problems, but it encodes my movie much larger than 2.57 even when I use the same Template that I made in 2.57. Instead of 12.5MB/m it is 15MB/m.

Not a direct solution I know but try using the Tmpgenc MPEG Tools > Simple Multiplex tool on the output file and select the file type it should be (before loading the source), save to a new file. This can often make the file compliant again even thought the last few frames are bad (they may even be just fine).

Let us know how you get on.
