hey everyone,
I found a few other articles about this problem but not a definite solution. I extracted the audio for a downloaded .mpg of Family Guy with VirtualDub, and used TMPGEnc to encode the original .mpg with the .wav audio.
When I play back the newly-formed .mpg file, it looks fine on my computer. When I write the VCD with Nero 5.5.8.2 and play it in my DVD player, the video is really jumpy with big green blocks over half the screen. The audio cuts in and out with lots of noise and is not quite synchronized with the video.
Anybody know what settings I have wrong? And is this in TMPGEnc or in Nero?
