  1. I downloaded the SMR re-encode of "Minority Report" and converted it t VCD using TMPGEnc. When i played back the MPG files, i notcied some strange happenings with the colors. It starts off fine, and then slowly the skin tones change to a deep purple-reddish color. Then they'll revert back to the regular coors, and do it again after a few seconds. This happens throughout the file. I played back the original AVI files and had no problems whatsoever with the colors. I then tried to convert the files a second time, with the same results. Any suggestions?

  2. Hmm... Curious, are you Outputting basic YuV data as basic YCbCr, and not CCIR601?

Doing this can increase the vividness of the sourse, and sometimes TMPGenc will encode a bit of TOO much colour, as I have had this problem in the past?

BTW, I have the same video.
