  1. OK, I have a AVI movie that is about 120 mins.

Using Ulead I copied the first 60mins to mpeg (VCD format) with no errors.

When I tried to copy the second 60 mins to mpeg (VCD format) the audio was way off and only lasted about 10 mins.

Then I tried to convert the entire movie from avi to mpeg(vcd format) thinking I would just split it later in the new format. Well the audio was correct for about the first 15 mins and then went crazy for a few minutes and then no audio.

    Any ideas?

I need to either convert that second 60 mins into mpeg(vcd format) with correct audio.

    OR

Convert the entire movie to mpeg (VCD format) successfully with correct audio. I can cut a correct mpeg (VCD format) version later.

Load the video into Virtual Dub. Select File-->Save wav.... Load the video into TMPGEnc as input video and the .wav file as input audio and convert to your VCD template as before. Good luck!

  3. OK I can't find the .wav file on my system. When I used TMPGenc it loaded the .avi file in both the Video and Audio spaces and the final mpeg had NO audio.

I did a search for a corresponding .wav file and came up with nothing.

    Any ideas?

Just reread your post. I don't have virtual dub. I'll see if I can find it and use it to create the .wav.
