    have any try to put a hard drive in any apex model yet... since the dvd-rom is using ide cable right???

    Hard drive is put in the Sampo 631CF all the time, it has "2" IDE ribbons one for the DVD Drive and one for the Compact flash reader, format your drive put your mp3's on it, remove the IDE ribbon from the CF reader plug in disc drive, boots up to hard drive unless you have a disc in the DVD Drive then it will boot up to DVD Drive.

    You can add a hard drive to the Apex AD600, AD660, and AD700 also.
    You will have to reflash the firmware though.
