Grrr...

Okay. I bought 256 megs of PC 100 ram a week ago, and when I dropped it into my old crappy system to replace the 96 megs I had, my benchmark scores on Norton System Information went from the 90-100 range to the mid 60's. My memory throughput scores on CliBench MKIII were chopped in half from 24307 to 12153. What gives? Any combination of RAM DIMMS that contain one of the new 128's results in the exact same thing. My old RAM (A 32 meg stick, unknown speed, and a 64 meg PC 100 stick) is now back in and I'm wondering if I have to return the new stuff...

For the record, my P-O-S is a HP Pavilion 6350, AMD K6 333. Have no idea about the motherboard, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can change in the BIOS, and no mobo manual. Help!
