I downloaded a vcd player and was playing vcd's just fine until yesterday. I was testing a vcd and all of the sudden it got really slow and wouldn't play correctly. I re-started, same result. I tried other vcd's I had already tested and that I know worked and the problem still remained. I tried different VCD programs, same thing. What happened? Is it the cd drive? The laser? A little help please.
Thanks

Do you get data errors reading CD-ROMs? If so, you need a new drive or should try cleaining your laser lens. If not, I would suspect a problem with either the software of with the MPG decoding hardware on your video chipset. If I knew more about Macs, I could probably help you more. Sorry.
