I have a DVD that's a little over 4.7GB and It has like 6 movie trailors and other junk in extras that I don't want.

Is there anyway I can copy the DVD and leave out those certain extras while still having the menues intact?

Woohoo!! I did It.I followed the directions as best possible in the guide below. After I played the movie in ifoedit and it told me what titles I played,It was kinda difficult though to figure out which files I was supposed to keep and which not too.

But I figured it out and then afterwards burned the DVD with nero.Everything plays great except for the extras which I cut out.Now whenever I have to split a DVD onto two DVD-R's I don't have to lose the cool menues

    I did it! yay! *hop,skip,jump*

  5. can u just rip all the movie files VTS_01_x, (Including the menus) and the video_ts and just burn them back to a dvdr? Or do you have to stip streams with Ifo Edit?

    I.E.
    i have
    VTS_01_0 (Menu files)
    VTS_01_x (Movie Files)
    VIDEO_TS

just ripped straight from the DVD with nothing changed and burnt them back to DVDR would it work?

  6. Yeah..That should work..Thats what I do...

    You must have

    Video_ts.ifo
    Video_ts.vob
    Video_ts.bub

and then chuck in your Vts vob n ifo files.

This works ok in my Afreey dvd player but some other makes dont want to play it i think its because they have a look through the files n wont play it if it thinks something is missing (Nero does the same if you try to burn in DVD Video mode so use UDF/ISO instead.)

  8. Hey there,

I am trying to do the exact thing as stated above. Andydd, I was hoping you could lend a quick hand. I am pretty new at ripping dvds and the method I am using currently is not giving me .ac3 sound. I was hoping you could lay out step by step directions for me using dvd decryptor to rip only the main movie and main menu and then burn with Nero as UDF/ISO. Not sure what mode to have dvd decryptor in example ifo, file or something else. Thanks a bunch in advance.
