  1. I used to be able to open dat files in TMP and encode them, now it wont let me, I just get the "unsupported file can not open" message. I tried to use VCDGear to conver the dat to mpg, but when I open the converted mpg into TMP, TMP just hangs. Any ideas would be appreciated.thanks!

  2. Installed Divx 3, 4 and 5. Installed Nimo. Changed priority in TMP of Directshow, but still no luck. help please!

  7. I have the same problem....please help......
    My *.dat file only work on my VCD player...but it doesn't work on my computer.....I wonder if I convert *.dat to MPG it will work on my computer??? I use win 98.......thanks

    If it is from a VCD, just rename as .mpg, as they are just plain mpeg files.
