SVCD, consecutive playing of single files, thumbnail menu

Is it possible to have a thumbnail menu which links to 16 sinle Mpeg2 files (videoclips) , so the files can be played continuously ? When I start SVCD , the menu appears, then I select menu page and clip number. But after a clip ends, it returns back to menu. I would like it to play all next clips... I ask this because I have sound sync problem merging all those clips to one file.

Hi,

Which program do you use for authoring. If you use VideoPack 5 or vcdeasy or anything that can set the playing order, you're fine. Don't those VCD-for-dummies-options in for example nero.

I use DVD MovieFactory (Excellent sw!). But either I am able to set one file with chapters linking to it (but I have other problem merging this file) or single files linked from menu, but not able to play them continuously. By now I tried only Nero , after several attempts I gave up. I don't know VideoPack 5, how is it awailable ? (Demo, Trial , Kazaa ) ?

Videopack 5 is a comercial product. I don't know if there's a trail or demo available. But you can check out the links on this page (On the left) to find out how to author a vcd with chapters...
