ATI softwre trouble, cant uninstall. think thats my problem

I have the ati multimedia center software installed....but I am having alot of problems with sound and picture. There is now a new beta for download and it seems to have the few fixes I am having trouble with under XP. The only problem is .....I cant seem to uninstall the old version. Its goes through the unstall process and says its completed doing the maintence but then still present.

I want to upgrade so I can see if thats the issue I am having....starting at groud zero. If anyone can assisnt in the uninstall of this ATI version 7.1 that would be awesome.

I tried reinstalling and uninstalling over and over...didnt seem to work..

look at google "alt.comp.periphs.videocards.ati" and search for "uninstall driver".

Next time you uninstall, delete the ATI folder, in your C: drive. You should also have an ATI install log, or .inf file in there. Delete that one, too. Then, reboot and install the new drivers.
