    Ok Apex experts, in you opinion, which is the best Apex model to purchase under $100, that plays the best and most formats? I see that 21 of them have been listed on this site, but which is the HOT ! model to get?

    I just bought an AD-1100W. It's an older model that is supposed to play VCDs and has a macro/region free upgrade.

    All new Apex models will not play VCDs but will play SVCDs. I think you should go for a different player try and look around for a better one enlse you get an old model.

    Well i just bought me a Apex AD 2100 and it plays almost everything. So far i got it to play VCD and SVCD. I'm pretty sure it plays dvdr. So i would recommend Apex 2100.
