  1. DVD Maestro Ver. 2.9

when i start the program , a message on the screen say that :

realtime preview will not be available , because no decoders have been detected , same history with Scenarist & ReelDVD.

    what's happening ? i need some extra files ?

  2. You need Cinemaster or something like it with the right decoders to use preview.

I just says that the preview is not available. You can still use Maestro to create a video title set, then use a software player to test it (yes, this is a "little" longer, but after a while, you won't really need to preview at all).

Humm, I played around last night with a program that read the subtitle substream bitmaps and did an "OCR" on the result, then output the results to a Scenarist or Maestro sub format. It did a pretty decent (actually, very good) job. The only problem it has is that it cannot tell the difference between a capital "I" and an "l" in the font that was used, because they were identical. Some post editing would correct the errors. I thought that the program was SUBRIP 1.03. I can send it to you if you need it. PM me if so.
