Hello, I was wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem, or better yet knows how to resolve this. THe MPEG file is FINE on the computer, but when I burn it and play it, it becomes a little screwed.
1.) the movie is not centered. It goes off to the right and the subtitles get cut off a bit.
2.) almost an inch of the bottom edge goes to the top. if that makes sense. like if the bottom was a part of an orange sweater, and the top was a blue sky a piece of that orange sweater would go to the very top edge of the movie.
I'm really confused about this. It's FINE on the computer. and if anyone's wondering, I use NERO and I tried NTI Cd-maker 2000 just to see if nero was messed. But it turns out they both give out same results. How can I prevent this?
And I tried "fixing" the MPEG by going to MPEG tools and "simple multiplex"d it.
*SIGH*
HELP PLS

Did you use a VCD template to make the mpeg, or did you capture?, download ? They may play just fine, but that does not mean they don't have faults.
Downloads > full of faults
Capture > full of dropped frames
DVD rips > Excellent
Nero > AVI > Mpeg = crap
DVD rips > TMPGENC conversions > VCD Template > Excellent
