    Hi guys,
    If I have Nimo codec pack installed I cant burn any VCD's using Nero 5.5.9 or Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum. If codec pack is uninstalled then Its no problem. The only reason I installed Nimo is because I had a xvid movie & could not play the audio without it. I also have the xvid codec installed. Any ideas anyone??

    What has a codec got to do with burning a disk ?

    If your using those programs to convert the AVI to mpeg "Don’t"

    Use TMPGEnc for all AVI to mpeg conversions

    What I mean is if the Nimo codec pack is installed at the same time as burning the burning software will not work. For instance I have already converted the file into mpg using TMPGenc, but when you add the file for burning using either Nero of ECD5 platinum the software crashes. If I uninstall Nimo everything is fine.

    Did you load a template in TMPGEnc, what I am saying is that the codec's are not used when "Burning a disk" only when an AVI is used and the program would need to use them to decompress.

    I have had the same problem when i was trying to turn a avi to a mpg
    tmpge it wouldnt work untill i took off the nimo pack

    I have ECD5 and the Nimo codec pack and no trouble at all. What I would suggest is you only choose to install the items you need from it. I only install 3 or 4 codecs and not all the other crap it had as those other things could indeed mess up another program.
