Nero 5.5.7 Menu

Im trying to get a menu happening on a VCD using nero 5.5.7. Each time i try it simply does nothing when i put the disc into the DVD player. That means, i press play and the menu comes up with the list of chapters, but after that nothing happens. I try to skip forward, i try to select something, i press enter, i do everything.

What is wrong? Is there some kind of problem with the way i am burning the VCD?

Press the number on the remote that corresponds with the chapter. For example, if you want to look at chptr 2, then press "2" on your dvd remote.
