  1. Hi ... I have gone through your faqs and fourms and am still having problems with multiplexing. I recorded a video 480x480 svcd standard from a camcorder that is 18:15 min and have a wav file with music/narration that is 18:15 as well. All I am trying to do is overwrite the the sound in the video with the new wav file that I have.

I do it with Tmpeg ... it says successful but when I try and play back the resulting mpg, it crashes mediaplayer after 2 seconds (the original plays back fine in mediaplayer and the wav file plays back fine). What am I doing wrong ?

BTW, I had to convert the wav to an mp3 (224 kbps) for the multiplex load audio function to recognize it. and I have tried both simple and regular multiplex and still get the same error.

I downloaded bbmpeg but how do I use it to do what I need to do ? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Browse Video > mpeg
    Browse audio > WAV

This will re-encode, but this is the most successful method. Even with the MP3 at 224, it may still not play on a DVD player, even if you did get it to join audio/video

  3. well ... I cant seem to be able to select a wav file under browse audio ?! I have tmpegPlus 2.57. Is there problems with that version ?

surprisingly, if I use vcdhelp (not nero) to record it onto cd, it plays back on my dvd player with the new music just fine ... it just crashes on mediaplayer on windows !

You do need to save out the WAV first for it to be available

BTW, I had to convert the wav to an mp3 (224 kbps)
This is the WAV file you browse for
