  1. Hi there!
Look, I've got to convert dvd to vcd, but I can't rip(my hd is full). I tried dvd2mpg, but I have lots of problems with it.. What are my options(if there are any )?
    Thanks

Ripping directly from your DVD drive I would not advise as the drive would be under excessive use and run hot. The only way would be to partly rip the VOB's by using a VOB stripper (it makes new VOB's by deviding them into chapters, so that they are even smaller). The software is called vobutil.exe, but I can't remember where I got it from. If you want it, email me as I can send you it via email (347kb).

i found a s/w that makes all trasparently:
you put on the dvd and it produces the mpeg 1 file automatically in the vcd standard and with good quality.
look for it at this link http://go.to/doom9
