fixing a d2v file?

I've got a d2v file and when it gets to a certain point the picture scrambles for a few secs then it goes out of sync. While i was encoding it with TMPGEnc it gets to the part where it scrambles and this error message comes up "Read error occurred at address 020164B7 of module 'DVD2AVI.vfp' with 01A0E465". Is there a way to fix the file or sumthing?

I've got the same thing happening in TMPG. It gets to about 64% encoded then stops with the error:
'read error occurred at address 10006614 of module 'DVD2AVI.vfp' with 02170E5E.'
Can anyone help with this?

I had the same problem when using the newer version of dvd to avi i downgraded to 1.76 and then there was no more errors
