I've downloaded an AVI the will not play using Windows Media Player, Playcenter 3, or be recognized by TMPG........
Any suggestions?

Try downloading the Nimo pack it should have all the codecs u need. If that dont work u prob downloaded a fake File

Thanks for info on Nimo. I've downloaded and installed it now. I am however now getting a different error message on Windows Media Player. It now tells me, "Cannot playback the file. The format is not supported.
TMPG will now recognize, but when I start the encoding process......
The resolution of the video is illegal.
>The window size needs to be set between 8x8 and 4088x4088.
>The width and height of windows needs to be multiple of 8.
Ideas?
