    What do people mean that haveing to many fiters will slow your encoding down? Ca someone give me an example of a filter? Thanks

    In Virtual Dub there are many filters....filters here is used like the word processor...these filters perform various processes.
    theres the resize....changes size (hxW) of outputed video.
    briteness.....briten or darken output.
    logo away... helps cover or remove some logos ....
    And so on......

    Simply the more processing (or changes made)done to a video during the encoding process the longer it will take
