    Hi,

Just upgraded to a p3 700 (you can go see my specs,i think they are public)

I've reformatted and reinstalling everything , i do have the latest drivers for all of my components and Win 98se cannot be more updated that this.I only have one HUGE problem.

Everytime i try to open any video file (with their latest player of course) my computer freezes. Since my big update my computer has been doing fine ,that's the only problem that i have.

    Any ideas

    Thanks a bunch

  2. use a different player... install a codec pack (see tools section to the left) for most recent codecs...otherwise...computer is just not stable.

    Thanks TMC for the answer.

Actually what did the trick was to take out my video card out from the AGP slot and put it back in , restart and lower the graphic accelerator of windows to zero and restart again.

    Everything's fine now ,thanks anyway

  4. If it won't run right with the accelerator set to full, soomething is wrong with the card, board, or drivers.
