    In divx you get to choose your options for coding and such, what are the best settings for Quality:Size. I can't figure out how those guys do it (Movie rippers and such). A command line would be great too (at the bottom of the first settings screen for the Divx codec.

    Use Nandub. Nandub is a variation of Virtualdub. Check out doom9.org for guides on getting highest quality with lowest filesize out of DivX with Nandub.
