What is the best brand of DVD-R or DVD-RW Media?

I've decided to get a DVD-Burner and am going to go with the Pioneer A04 DVD-R/-RW burner.

I've been looking at DVD-Media, and so far I've found some PRINCO discs VERY VERY cheap. However how are the quality of these discs? I did some reading and got mixed reviews.

What discs do you guys recommend and websites where I can get media cheaply? For a good price..? Thanks

They have combo packages with DVDPro discs and DVD cases real cheap, and I've never had a problem with any of their discs, they burn and play great every time!

i use Great Quality brand dvd-r's. they are good for me and dont give me any issues

Also I've had good results with esbuy.com's gold DVD-Rs. Of course if price is no issue buy Apple disk.

I'm gonna try some of the brands newegg carries soon to see how they work for me.

It's more a case of which brands your player likes. Get a few different types and test them, and just stick with a certain brand or two.....

I've heard Memorex is pretty good. At $4.00 a piece, that's not too bad.

Go with Meritline. I like there generic discs that come with the cases.

just got an A04 and am seriously confused by the multitude of media available!!!!!!!

Looks like the cheapest options are:
- Princo from allmediaoutlet.com
- DVDPro from meritline
- DVDPro Silver from meritline
Anyone seen a difference between these and especially the DVDPro and DVDPro Silver?
