  1. I cant figure out how to add watermarks to movies in encode to mpeg-1 in tmpegenc.

    ANy ideas ?

    If by watermarking you mean say, adding a logo, one method i follow is to: open my avi/mp1 file with virtualdub, add a logo, then frameserv to tmpgenc.
    Comes out quite nice. Plus you control where to place the logo. (like a T.V. station logo), or it can also be animated.

    Yes i mean adding a logo. Is it no way i can do this in tmpegenc ? i really want to bypass the extra virtualdub step

    No, you can not add a logo directly in tmpgenc. Use virtualdub or avisynth to add and frameserve http://www.vcdhelp.com/convert.htm#frameserve
