Hi there:
Since I can't use the codec which comes with DVD Studio Pro (I have a PB G3 "Pismo" and this codec requires G4 Altivec) I'm converting my iMovie DV Files to mpeg2/mpv using MMT0.8.8 . They look and play nice, I can even use them in DVD Studio Pro tracks, but it can't create a turmbail of them and even refuse to set Markers on them. Markers are very necesary to build chapters in a DVD.
Is there an MMT0.8.8 option I'm missing when I'm converting the files, which prevents DVDSP set Markers on them? Are MMT MPEG2 generated files fully compatible witch DVDPS? Have anybody try to make a DVD on DVDSP using MMT instead of the Apple MPEG2 Codec for G4 Altivec? Is there an alternative to both?
Thanks for stop by reading,
Techné
