Hi all,
I just searched for an answer to my question but couldnt find anything relevant. I'm using an ATI TV Wonder VE card to capture VHS off my VCR. I have my VCR running through my stereo and my stereo running to the Line In on my Sound Card.
The TV Wonder card has audio inputs on it.
Should I run the audio in through my soundcard through my stereo the way I have it, or should I run the audio in through the Capture card directly from the VCR?
Thanks for any advice. I just dont want to have audio sync problems while capturing.
Thanks,
Chris

TV Wonder VE only has audio out(1/8in. mono),Use receiver to soundcard if rec. has Dolby Pro Logic output.Dolby 5.1 cannot be encoded on VCD.

You're right, I dont know what I was thinking. I thought I had my audio running into my TV Card bt it's not. Brain must be fried from reading so much about all this stuff. Thanks.
I still would like to know if it is possible to run the sound from the stereo into the soundcard and get better audio capture, or would I get better capture running directly from the VCR. Guess it's time for some experimenting.
