Capture question. What the hell does this mean?

I saw this posted in the capture card comments under the tv tunner I just bought. I plan on using it for capture vice TV viewing. Her's the quote:

In order to capture avi in stereo you will need a scart cable form your TV/VCR with a composite input into the card, so that's another £20 on the price.

scart? what the hell is that?

Seeing as you are quoting on pounds I assume you are in the uk. Scart is probrably the most common connecton for AV equipment in the uk.

Ever heard of google, type in scart this is what you get.
