  1. I'm having a problem playing a svcd encoded with DVDx and burned with Nero5 and played on a Apex AD-5131.
I made a svcd of Dragonfly and the first disc only has the video and audio out of sync.
When I play the disc on my computer it plays OK and when I burn a disc in vcd (not super) it plays Ok.
The 2nd and 3rd discs play OK on the Apex player.

    Any help will be appriciated.

    Try to re-encode the svcd.
If that gives you the same kind of problems, then use the option of DVDx to rip to an avi instead to mpeg.
Then encode that avi in (for example) TMPGenc and reburn the disc.

  3. Hello I seem to have somewhat the same problem. I have found that the MPEG files that I create, burn as just a file and watch on the computer and on the Apex 5131 (when you are physically looking at the file in the folder mode) are in perfect sync. However, when I take the same MPEG file and burn it to a vcd or svcd (with Nero) and the audio is never in sync. I have noticed this with both of my Apex DVD players. (Apex 1200 and the 5131) Does any have any idea what could be going on??
    Thanks
