i am using tmpgenc to encode what women want from avi to mpeg..i left it over night and found it stopped half way through, it looks like this was because of a bad frame. I used avidefreezer to try and fix this but it said it could not save new file. Anyone have any ideas? i have loads of space on hard drive so i know thats not the problem
Any help would be appreciated
Chris

WhenTMPG stoped ...it should have out puted the file to that point...correct?? Even if not you can st TMPG to encode up to the frame before it froze,...then
You can set TMPG to encode from the frame after where it froze through to end of movie....then join the two together using cut and join under mpeg tools in TMPG....You will lose the frame...but at (15fps avi) up to the 29.97fps for mpg or so thats 1/15 of a second.... -
yea i am starting to do this now but....when i found out the frame number that was bad in this case 103520, i started to encode up to 103519 but its encoding now and saying its going to 107808 even though i did not put this number in
