    anyone know why these lines are appearing on the tv card? anyone else experienced this? how did you fix it? is it fixable? any info would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Are you using the S-Video input?
    If so, this is a common problem using the S-Video cable connection. Try the composite video input...
    Otherwise, you have a RF interference or a ground loop problem between your devices.

    Sorry skittelsen wrong answers http://shs-tv.m0ss.com/images/svcd_shot.jpg (NTSC) S-Video nor Composite make any diff even PAL has the same problem, Anyway morleyian2000 don't worry about it ok.

  7. I still claim my answer is correct
    If there is no external interference, there is some internal interference on the hardware card. What you see on the picure is a beat interference between two or more signals, like leak from data busses and oscillators on the card. Obviously, not much you can do if it's a hardware problem, and they can't fix it by changing software cycles to reduce the interference.

    Ocen agine skittelsen you wrong get DScaler and undo the percorp and you see all artifact with in a standrad TV show it ever woset with TV Ad"s have wonder why TV Tube are overscan this well know and it not a hardware problem.
