  1. I'm trying to use ulead video studio 6 se basic
Ok so right now I'm pissed again at this program that just won't do a simple little thing

All I want to do is cut out a couple sections (aprox 3 to 8 seconds each piece) of my captured movie that I don't like. How is this done?
I've tried a variety of ways. None really work (whats so hard about "click 1 side, click the other side and delete, DONE, next piece)

I found some advice using the storyboard mehod but it makes me save it as finished after 1 cut. (even this method is poor because it appears to make 3 different clips) Can't do the rest
I downloaded their pdf file (uer manual) but it's pretty vague and it doesnt seem to work the way they describe it.
Could really use some help here. I've been at this for 3 weeks now and stil have gotten nowhere.

Also on there site they have various patched and upgrades but ut doesn't directly state ulead se basi. Does anyone know if I can upgrade some of their stuff

This is a simple task to perform with Ulead VideoStudio 6.

    From Ulead's Help File:

To cut a video clip into two:

    1. Go to the Storyboard Step and select a video clip.
    2. Drag the Preview Bar or click Previous or Next to move to the frame where you want to cut the clip.
    3. Click the Split Video button.

The video clip is then separated into two clips.

You can repeat this as many times as you would like, such as if you're wanting to dump the commercials from a captured TV program, you just split the video at the beginning and the end of the commercial and simply drag the unwanted portion to the trash can.
Evil flourishes when good men do nothing.
