    here is the issue!a have a LOT of original "dvds" that are allready factory downsampled to 4,7 gband they fit to dvd-r but i would like to take out some subtitle and put my language subs in the moviea nd burn them to dvd-r how to do that ?i didnt find guides for that kind of converting !

  2. You can rip the movie into DivX format and use VOBSub to add in the subs. At that point when you play the movie back the subs will go with the movie. But I have no idea how to burn it back with the subs already in there. VoBSub should come with SubRemux and SubSync. That should help put it together.

    I'm guessing if you used Tmpegenc to re-encode DivX back to Mpeg you can probably encode it to DVD Video format and burn back. Very time consuming though. It just might work. I don't have the patience to do all that becuase it will take possibly years on this old Pentium III 933mhz system; the CPU is slowing me down. Otherwise the Seagate Cheetah 18.1GB 15,000rpm drive is faster than anything!

    Okay, a little off topic here, but ya get the point.
