I have some very simple cartoons (Big Bunny) that I need to convert from AVI to MPG. When I convert, I get lots of noise around the lines. I've searched the forums all night, but haven't been able to find a solution that works. I'd prefer to use TMPGEnc. If someone has a template that works great with cartoons, please let me know. Processing time matters not to me. Thanks in advance for anyone who can offer a decent solution.

One trick is to set Noise Reduction in TMPGENC to about 80% of max. Cartoons are SUPPOSED to look posterized!

Another suggestion is to make sure you're using the CG/Animation matrix. It helps ALOT. You should try it
