I used DVDit and TMPGEnc to make my movie. I was wondering if anyone knows why my movie looks fine on my TV screen but cheaper on my computer monitor. And is there anything I can do to improve this?

First, a PC monitor has about twice the resolution than a TV set. So, you will notice any little artifact on a PC monitor, but you will not see it on a TV set. Second, if the video is interlaced, it will look normal on a TV set, but have lots of streaky lines when there is movement in the video. This is because the video is interlaced, no prograssive like your PC monitor. There are software players that will deinterlace the video (PowerDVD) so you don't see this interlacing artifact when viewing on a PC monitor. Also, PC monitors often have a different gamma than a TV set, so the picture often looks different.
