I have the following software installed on the PC. My problem is TMPGEnc won't open any .vdr files created by VirtualDub. TMPGEnc tells me the .vdr file is not supported but I have installed the handler from VirtualDub and also registered the VFP plugin. Any suggestions?
TMPGEnc v2.57
VirtualDub v1.4.10

this took me ages to sort out & was driving me crazy!!
I think the thing that finally sorted it was copying a .dll called something like msvcrt70.dll into my windows/system folder.
In one of the 'how to' guides there is a section on troubleshooting the problem you're talking about:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/virtualdubframeserve.htm
if what's on that page doesn't sort you out, try the link at the bottom of the page for more details.
good luck - it's worth it in the end!! -
It worked! Copied it to the system32 folder and loaded like a charm. Thanks for you help.
