I am trying to get something really usable to test out my 200i and my Pioneer DV-C503, but the download link has said the limit has been exceeded and try again tomorrow. Well, I seem to get to it after it has been exceeded every time.

    Anyone?

    Thanks.

I finally got in and downloaded it from here. Funny thing, I burned it, and the DVD-VCD sample doesn't even play, and the DVD-SVCD plays on only 2/3 of the screen starting at the left, but it does fill up the screen horizontally (sp?). I will have to keep that in mind, and I will continue to use DVD+RW's until I get this down.

The samples and templates on this site are DVD compliant, if he is looking for samples of MPEGs that were comverted to a DVD format or a Rip that was converted to a DVD format then this site has that. So I would still suggest that they check the site if for nothing else then information on DVD related conversion process. I know when I first started to look into using DVD-R's and DVD conversions the more information I had the better it was for me to follow the process.

Yes, that worked fine. I recall seeing that same trailer when I did a test SVCD, and the DVD version doesn't get blocky and played great. The SVCD version I think was at 3500Kbit, which my Pioneer can't handle without choppy audio.
